Clean rooms with all necessary amenities in a real castle! Mind-blowing atmosphere with wooden furniture, chandeliers, and knight armors. A big dining room offering a delicious breakfast. Tasty beer in the bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Toddler-friendly with a room full of toys.

Location
The photos used for advertising are misleading, therefore it is essential for the management to provide correct information, notwithstanding the use of correct photos. For the price charged and the poor facilities provided in the accommodation rooms including no entertainment is certainly not acceptable.

The kids (and the adults) loved to stay in a castle. The tower room was magnificent.

We stayed at Stayokay in a charming castle for a few nights as a base for cycling in the countryside. The affordable price included a tasty breakfast and the staff were warm and welcoming. The dorm-style rooms were a novelty experience, with rustic charm, clean facilities, and comfortable beds. The old castle atmosphere added to our enjoyment, especially when dining in the beautiful common areas. The short walk to the train station made it convenient for public transport, and the staff were accommodating. Perfect for families too.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Too much noisy children big party on when we arrieved it seemed like a scout holiday camp ;The gardens were lovely beds not so comfortable odour from toilet bad smelly a kettle would be nice in the rooms .
It was fine for a short stay and good for cycling as bikes are provided it was like a building site also and work started early not so good if you would like a sleepin Breakfast was fine but could do with better coffee.

Breakfast was great! Bar was great!
This is a hostel not a hotel. Bring your own towels. Bring handsoap. Pretty expensive for no amenities.

The gardens and grounds of Stayokay were absolutely stunning, making me feel like I was in a fairy-tale. The atmosphere was magical and it was a unique opportunity to stay in a castle. The rooms were clean, and despite being small, they were well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience.

This is not a hotel. It is a hostel. It is completely wrong to advertise this as a hotel and charge so much of money. The bunk bed was too small even to turn around. Then it was too hard. No soap in the toilet to wash hands after going to the toilet. It was a disaster.

Historical site
Rooms were uncomfortable, especially beds. Plumbing in shower was not working and septic smell was pungent.

The location itself is amazing! it is an old castle surrounded by a canal. The interiour is nice simple and also a great castle look! Most fits the style and a good atmosphere. The personel was nice and friendly though a little disorganised. The breakfast was included in the price and the buffet was basic but good. The beds are okay, but most is group accomodation and thus stack beds. So for Bicycle/ backpack groups, students, and low cost short stays it is just great.
The sleeping rooms are not really comfortable since they are more meant for a fast and cheaper stay. Making up your own bed. Not an advice for young happy couples or long-stay visitors. Bring your own towels!

I liked the area and of course the castle itself. The staff is friendly. Just imagine on the last day we were served individual breakfast, just for me and my boyfriend.
Because of the wedding we had to sleep in the Orangery. But it is ok, just 20 meters from the castle.

The castle and park surrounding the accommodation were beautiful and provided a unique and historical atmosphere. the dinner offered was tasty and enjoyable, adding to the overall fun experience. the staff were friendly and helpful.
The hostel room itself was disappointing, with dirty floors and uncomfortable bunk beds that were too narrow and short. the lack of amenities like soap in the rooms was inconvenient.

There are nice room for playing table-games in the evening (and you can have a big choise of games to hire)
The mattress was covered with plastic!

Convient location outside the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. Convient boat trip to centre of Amsterdam (approx. 40 minutes). Beautiful location of castle within its own recently restored gardens.
